The new Fusion range includes a lightweight pedestal - the FP145, the new head -the FH100 and two new control systems. All these exciting new products will be available for demonstration at stand 11.520, alongside other market leading products from the Radamec and Autocam ranges.
The new control systems provide seamless backward compatibility for products from Autocam and Radamec, but also introduce a future proof architecture, modern connectivity and ongoing support on which new products from Vinten Radamec are constantly being added.
In modernising the robotics products, significant advances have been made in the performance and network connectivity of the pedestals and heads, particularly with the introduction of the world beating Vinten manual product design capability to robotic devices.
A studio solution from Vinten Radamec has become a much more flexible and affordable option.
The new FH100 head includes standard features such as simple changeover to full manual capability with Vector 70 type drag, providing versatile direct control of broadcast lenses from the two main lens providers, and the ease of expansion of a studio system to suit the director’s needs.
The new Fusion robotic pedestal, the FP145 has a payload of 65kg. By reducing the payload of the robotic pedestal system, in line with modern studio camera configurations, a significantly lower price point has been reached. As you would expect from Vinten products in a studio there is no compromise in the ‘on shot’ quality of the movement irrespective of use in manual or robotic mode.
In keeping with the high-end performance expected from the market leading Radamec and Vinten brands, the FP145 pedestal uses a new navigation system utilising floor targets with a simple straight-line update path. The new error calculation algorithms greatly increase the accuracy and repeatability of the floor movement.
With these new systems the quality of all round performance allows a studio to be used as either fully robotic or fully manual, without compromising the operators familiarity with Vinten’s manual pedestal.
