Vinten continue to build on the current success of the AutoCam™ range, bringing enhanced engineering and technology to the range for those wishing to take advantage of the real operational and financial benefits of studio robotic systems. Simple installation and operation ensure that all AutoCam™ solutions take broadcast beyond traditional production methods, promising fast, smooth, accurate and repeatable shot acquisition, time after time.
According to Mike Denicola, President of Vinten, “We are finding that the speed and ease of shot acquisitions is providing our customers with a real cost saving opportunity. In addition, the ability to control all axes as part of a single on-air developed shot opens the door to some exiting creative possibilities.”
“The AutoCam™ range is designed in partnership with users, for users, providing the best possible solution for applications as diverse as news to sports, indoor and outdoor events, concerts, game shows and of course Legislatures.”
Mike added “To build on the success of the Vector 70 IT, at NAB this year we are adding two more products to the IT range; the new Vision 250 IT and Vision 250 E, providing precise real time positioning data for all manual virtual productions, and the new AutoCam™ Predator pan and tilt head that offers exceptionally high speed, on-air quality movement from any remote AutoCam™ controller. Combine the Predator with our new Slave Head Controller, and you have the perfect solution for all remote locations where it is impossible or even dangerous to place an operator. In addition, we are showing for the first time the ACS-125 and HCS-125 touchscreen controllers with joystick panels, utilising Windows technology and enhanced operational features with the ability to control up to 12 devices straight from the box.”
The full range of Vinten’s AutoCam™ robotic solutions, including those detailed above can be experienced at booth L10637 at NAB 2002.
